Your wedding day is not only a day to celebrate with friends and family, but it’s the first day of the rest of your lives together! It's a day to celebrate your marriage! It’s committing your lives to one another and becoming one unit! This is one of the most, if not THE most, important days in your lives together, and I want to make sure I capture all the emotion and everything about this day that you would want to remember for the rest of your lives!
To Serve
I don’t want to just show up the day of your wedding just to capture beautiful photos for you. I want to be there to serve you every. step. of. the. way. As your photographer, I get to see you more than anyone else on the wedding day (which is a huge privilege), but that also means that I want to make sure I’m doing everything in my power to make sure you enjoy your day to its fullest! This could be holding your dress up so that it doesn’t get dirty, making sure no bra straps are showing and hair is in its right place for photos, wrangling family members, and even being your dance floor hype girl, if needed! I hold onto this value from the moment we first meet up, until the day you receive your full image gallery. I can provide you with helpful tips on how to schedule out your day with estimated times to expect for photos throughout the wedding day, as well as offer any other advice and answer any questions you may have. Serving you, also means giving you a beautiful online gallery to view and to share with friends and family. It has a great user-interface and is super easy to use to make favorites and download files. And may I also add that it's a gallery with no up-sales? So many photographers use up-selling as a tool to make more money, but you’re already investing in so much for this day, that I feel like it would be a disservice to you to make you pay even more, just to receive edited images that I have already captured.
To Authenticate
By the time your wedding day comes around, I like to have had time to get to know my couples on a deeper level. I not only love getting to hear your love story, in how you met, started dating, and got engaged, but I also like to know how to best capture your relationship so that it’s authentic to who you are. This requires time spent. One way I like to do this, is by offering a complimentary engagement session! It’s a great way to get to know how you guys interact with one another, what your personalities are like, and to get you comfortable in front of the camera. I’ll provide you with prompts that will allow you to focus on each other and less about the fact that there’s a camera pointed in your direction. I like to make these prompts as natural as possible (nothing too posey), so that you look at your photos and think, “this is us”!
